About

The Bradford Gurdjieff Society is a group of people who meet regularly in the Leeds area to follow a teaching known as “The Work”. This teaching is of ancient origin and was brought to the west in a form suitable for contemporary culture by George Ivanovitch Gurdjieff. Originally founded in Bradford by John G Bennett in 1949 the Society was matured and led for over 40 years by Rina Hands.
